A Gaggle of Saints centers on a young Mormon couple who separately describe the events of an anniversary weekend in New York. As the events entwine, the girl is blissfully unaware of the violence perpetrated by her fiancé. The couple direct their interlocked parallel monologues to an offstage person who is unidentified and unreal.

The Moat Club from Naas, Co. Kildare was founded in 1954. The club has regularly taken part in the One Act circuit and they were delighted to have reached the finals last year with Eoin Colfer’s “Holy Mary”. The club is extremely active and produces works by a wide range of playwrights, from Shakespeare to Beckett.
