Bobby McAllister runs the local Post Office and telephone switchboard in Toolapooka together with his wife, Bessie.  The return of his brother, (Fr. Seamus) to the village is the cause of great consternation as Bessie, in particular, is most suspicious of his motives.  Love is certainly in the air but will the glamorous English lass, Pamela, finally get her hands on her man?

Cooraclare Drama Group

There has always been a strong history of drama in Cooraclare. Our group was reformed some years ago and we have concentrated mainly on the 3 Act circuit. We wrote and performed a Leiriú sketch “Write me down there Bertie” for Scór Sinsear in 2014 where we reached the All Ireland finals in Castlebar. This is the group’s first time on the one act circuit.
